Eco30 recognizes the challenges that the world is faced with in regards to climate change and carbon offsets. We propose a network protocol approach to creating a robust, efficient, and scalable system for creating a decentralized carbon offset registry.

We do this to prove our hypothesis that a properly incentivized ecosystem of engaged stakeholders is exactly what is needed to create systems that can deliver on the promises and pledges we have made to do better for each other, our environment, and our entire ecology. While the system presented in this whitepaper is comprehensive and may serve as exactly the set of technologies needed to accomplish the goals at hand, we also recognize that solutions must be dynamic and will undoubtedly evolve over time. Our architecture is designed so that the community of stakeholders can maximally contribute to the further development and evolution of Eco30. This dynamic model is oriented towards the propagation of the maximum positive impact, built on a sustainable chain of value and financial return.
