Eco30 is an open source, decentralized, network protocol for planetary regeneration. The Eco30 protocol leverages best in class technologies to solve for trust, transparency, and authenticity in critical Environmental Sustainability Goal (ESG) markets such as tree planting and carbon offsets. The Eco30 protocol is designed to support a community of contributors who all play important roles in the realization of our environmental sustainability goals. Governments, companies, and individuals around the world are making huge commitments to fund environmentally regenerative activities, such as carbon offsets. Unfortunately, however, the vast majority of carbon offsets on the market today are not verifiable, or reliable. We far too often see organizations advertise bold claims about their positive environmental impact which they cannot substantiate with real proof, which is widely known as “Greenwashing”. The rampant greenwashing has caused cynicism within the market, which is holding us back from deploying resources effectively to reach our potential in terms of tangible impact.

Eco30 mints “Immutable Carbon Offsets” (ICOs) which are cryptocurrency tokens on the Polygon blockchain that will be exchanged via our “Decentralized Autonomous Registry“ (DAR). We utilize decentralized and trust-less technology infrastructure to ensure that every impact we claim is 100% independently verifiable. We aim to create the highest standard globally for genuine environmental and ecological impact, and to do so in a way that is efficient and scalable, so that anyone around the world can benefit from and participate in our system. We are focused on additionality (adding new trees, rather than just counting existing ones), as we see this as the area with the biggest potential for impact. We utilize blockchain technology, QR codes, drones, AI, and decentralized governance to weave together the best solutions into an integrated system. The success of Eco30 is not dependent on any new technological breakthroughs or innovations; our technology is field tested, proven, and largely open-source. Our innovation comes in the form of an intelligently architected and integrated system supported by a highly motivated and incentivized community of changemakers from around the world.

Our success is mostly dependent on our ability to build our community and inspire it towards action. Given the global socio-political climate around climate change and sustainability, and our existing traction, we are confident that we will inspire a movement that will make a real positive impact for our planet. In order to sustainably grow a movement, the economics have to make sense, so we only focus on win-win-win scenarios - one’s where our environment, our investors, and our community win!
